US Military Shoots Down Object Flying in Alaska Skies: White House

American military personnel have shot down an object that crossed into US airspace and appeared in the skies over Alaska.

The information was provided by John Kirby, the strategic communications coordinator for the US National Security Council. According to him, the ownership and purpose of the device remain unknown.

“I can confirm that the Department of Defense has been tracking the flying object in Alaska airspace for the last 24 hours. The object was flying at an altitude of 12 kilometers and posed a certain danger to civilian aviation,” Kirby stated.

He added that the order to destroy the object was issued by US President Joe Biden.
