25-Year-Old Driver of 'Hummer' Found and Arrested

The 25-year-old driver of a 'Hummer' was discovered and arrested in the early hours of February 11, reported the police. According to the statement, he is a resident of the Ararat region.

Previously, a video was circulated online showing police officers trying to stop the driver of a silver SUV in Yerevan's Republic Square. According to the police, on February 10, around 11 PM, the driver of the 'Hummer' committed serious traffic violations in the city center, disregarded the legal requirements of patrol officers, and drove the vehicle towards police and citizens, engaging in actions that posed a danger to their lives and health. In an effort to stop the vehicle, gunfire was directed at the tires.
