Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has stated that the West prioritizes politics over humanitarian issues, according to SANA. He emphasized that there is no humanity in the West, and there never has been, neither now nor in the past.

The agency reported that today, February 10, he visited a hospital in the Aleppo province affected by the earthquake and also participated in debris removal.

It is noteworthy that a strong earthquake with a magnitude of 7.8 occurred in southeastern Turkey and northwestern Syria, followed by a second earthquake of 7.6 magnitude in central Turkey on the same day. According to the latest data, there are 3,317 fatalities and over 5,000 injuries in Syria, while Turkey reports 18,342 dead and 72,424 injured.
