At least 90,000 buildings in Istanbul are at risk of collapse in the event of an earthquake, according to Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu.
It is noteworthy that according to the latest reports, the devastating earthquake in Turkey has resulted in 18,342 fatalities, with the number of injuries reaching 74,242. Earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced a nationwide mourning period, which will last until February 12, inclusively.
