The Number of Armenians Killed in Turkey's Earthquake Reaches 9

The number of Armenians killed as a result of the earthquake in Turkey has reached 9 as of yesterday, according to Hovhannes Aleksanyan, head of the department for strategy development at the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, in a conversation with News.am.

Regarding the number of Armenians killed in the earthquake in Syria, he noted that there are 2 deceased Armenians.

It is worth recalling that the devastating earthquake in Turkey resulted in the deaths of Armenian spouses and their young child in Malatya.
