Pashinyan and Macron Discuss the Lachin Corridor and Humanitarian Crisis in Artsakh

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has had a phone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron.

The interlocutors discussed the dire humanitarian situation in Nagorno-Karabakh resulting from Azerbaijan's blockade of the Lachin corridor.

Emmanuel Macron emphasized the importance of the uninterrupted functioning of the Lachin corridor and noted France's readiness to continue contributing to the resolution of this issue.

The two leaders exchanged views on the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the protection of the rights and security of the people of Nagorno-Karabakh, and the activities of the EU civilian mission in Armenia.
