VIDEO: Jews Storm Catholic Church in Jerusalem, Topple Giant Statue of Christ

The chief editor of the Armenian Patriarchate's Zion magazine, Nerses Aloyan, shared a video on his Facebook page yesterday, stating:

"Three Jewish extremists stormed a Catholic church located at the second station of the 'Via Dolorosa' in Jerusalem, tossed down the giant statue of Jesus Christ from the holy altar, desecrated the church, and attempted to set it on fire. Fortunately, the church caretaker noticed the delusional extremists and tried to detain one of them before the Israeli police arrived at the scene."

According to tradition, this church was built on the site of Pilate's house, where Christ was interrogated, and Pilate publicly washed his hands, saying he found no fault in Jesus' actions and intended to release him.
