Tractor Taken from Kashatagh and Hidden in Ejmiatsin to Receive 5,000,000 Dram State Aid

According to information obtained by the National Security Service of Artsakh, it has been clarified that based on a financial leasing agreement signed on February 23, 2017, a wheeled tractor of the Agrotron-180 4WD E2 model transferred to the ownership of citizen R.G. by the Artsakh Agricultural and Rural Support Fund was secretly taken from the village of Mijnavan in the Kashatagh region and moved to the Syunik region of Armenia in October-November 2020 with the intent to steal it, as reported by the Artsakh Prosecutor's Office.

Subsequently, it was transported to the city of Ejmiatsin in the Armavir region of Armenia, where R.G. submitted information to a state body claiming he had lost the aforementioned tractor in an area that came under Azerbaijani control as a result of the 44-day war in 2020, thus receiving state support in the amount of 5,000,000 drams, along with an additional 12,000,000 drams in cash. As a result, the Artsakh Agricultural and Rural Support Fund was deprived of its ownership rights over the tractor worth 17,000,000 drams.

Following the initiated measures, the aforementioned tractor was discovered in the city of Ejmiatsin. A criminal case has been opened regarding the described incident, and an investigation is ongoing.
