Police Special Operation in Yerevan: 29-Year-Old Man Wanted for Serious Crimes Detained

A special operation was carried out by the personnel of the Main Criminal Police Administration yesterday, resulting in the arrest of 29-year-old G. Avetisyan, who was wanted for particularly serious crimes. This was reported by Shamshyan.com.

According to the news outlet, on August 25, 2019, a dispute and gunfire occurred near the "Don Quixote" restaurant on Yeghishe Tadevosyan Street in the Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan. The wanted individual fired shots and inflicted gunshot wounds on two people, one of whom succumbed to their injuries without regaining consciousness.
