Travel Only When Absolutely Necessary in Certain Areas, Police Warn

The police have issued a warning that the roads in the highland regions of the republic are difficult to traverse.

“Dear drivers, we would like to inform you that due to heavy snowfall and poor visibility, the roads in the highland areas of the republic have become impassable. For safety reasons, drivers are advised to travel on these roads only when absolutely necessary and exclusively with winter tires, while strictly adhering to traffic regulations,” the statement reads.
