Pranksters Vovan and Lexus Call Bolton Posing as Poroshenko
Russian pranksters Vovan and Lexus have contacted former U.S. National Security Advisor John Bolton, pretending to be Ukraine's former president Petro Poroshenko. The information was reported by News.ru.
Unaware of the true identity of his interlocutors, Bolton referred to Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, as a "Russian imperialist." He expressed doubts about whether the Russian politician had ever truly adhered to liberal views, despite creating such an impression during his tenure as President of Russia after Vladimir Putin.
“I’m not sure he was ever really liberal. As you know, he became president because of the monopoly and Russia’s Constitution; Putin could not elect himself president. I don’t believe Medvedev has changed. I think he has always been this way. We in the West thought he was liberal in terms of the economy and that everything would be fine with him. But from the very beginning, he was a Russian imperialist,” Bolton noted.
