Former Lover of Spain's King Juan Carlos Selling Home for £15 Million
The former lover of Spain's ex-king Juan Carlos is selling her home in Shropshire, England, amid fears for her safety, according to the Daily Mail.
German princess Corinna zu Sayn-Wittgenstein hopes to receive up to £15 million for Chicknall Hall. She decided to sell the property after expressing to friends that she feels unsafe at the house.
Corinna zu Sayn-Wittgenstein is embroiled in a legal battle against the 85-year-old Juan Carlos, accusing him of harassment since 2012. The former king has denied the allegations. A friend of the princess stated that she is saddened to leave Chicknall Hall, which she purchased for £6 million in 2015.
“She transformed the estate and its grounds into something very impressive, and she is well-liked by locals. It’s quite sad, but I understand that the case against Juan Carlos made her cautious about living in a remote estate,” her friend said.
