Messi Surpasses Ronaldo in Goals Scored Across All Club Competitions

In the 21st round of the French league, PSG's 35-year-old Argentine forward Lionel Messi has surpassed the record held by 37-year-old Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo for the most goals scored in top five European leagues.

Messi has now scored 697 goals in all club competitions. During his time at Barcelona, he netted 672 goals, while at PSG he has scored 25. Ronaldo, on the other hand, has a total of 696 goals in leading league clubs, comprising 145 goals at Manchester United, 450 at Real Madrid, and 101 at Juventus.
