Human Rights Defender Urges Against Publishing Such Photos
The blockade of Artsakh by Azerbaijan has led to a humanitarian situation in the region, creating several obstacles for organizing the normal life of the population, including the emergence of long queues for acquiring various goods.
In various materials circulating online related to this humanitarian crisis in Artsakh, photos and videos featuring people's faces are often shared without apparent consent.
In response to numerous complaints received by the Human Rights Defender's office regarding the aforementioned issue, the Defender once again calls on the public to respect individuals' rights to privacy and dignity, and to refrain from publishing such photos to avoid causing unnecessary discomfort to people in an already challenging situation.
