VIDEO: "They won't throw us out in the middle of winter." Protests continue

The gates of the "Malatia" marketplace are closed starting today. Traders have been staging a protest since early morning, demanding time for their director to address the existing five violations.

“They want to throw us out in the middle of winter; doesn't our 30 years of work and support for our country mean anything? What is all this for if the person says they will fix it? I am 71 years old; who will hire me?” said one of the employees.

It is worth noting that the Ministry of Urban Development, Fire and Technical Safety has decided to suspend the operation of the "Malatia" marketplace starting February 1, due to the failure of the operator to rectify several of the 17 recorded violations.
