VIDEO: The Largest Strike in a Decade Takes Place in London
A significant strike, the largest in the past decade, took place in London, with over half a million people demanding higher wages. Workers from various professions, including teachers, civil servants, border officials, and train drivers, took to the streets of British cities.
Reports indicate that more than 100,000 civil servants from nearly 100 agencies and government bodies, including the Cabinet Office, and departments of health, transport, education, and business, as well as the British Museum, the Electoral Commission, the UK Space Agency, and the Land Registry, joined the strike.
