Serious Issues with Safe Water Access Arising from Azerbaijani Invasions, Tatoyan Says
The Director of the Center for Law and Justice, Arman Tatoyan, addressed security issues during a meeting with Aurora Gratitude Scholarship recipients. He stated:
“During the 44-day war and afterwards, our work has prioritized the rights and safety of the civilian population, particularly those border residents affected by armed attacks. This includes gathering evidence of such violations and protecting their rights, with special attention to the rights of journalists, children, women, and the elderly, among others.”
Tatoyan emphasized that due to Azerbaijan's invasions, water resources have come under their control, leading to serious problems regarding access to water and the right to safely utilize water resources.
He also stressed that humanitarian issues must be raised, solutions must be proposed, and all efforts should be made to ensure that political interests do not undermine rights and safety.
