Post-February 1 Benefits and Emergency Assistance Will Be Paid in Non-Cash Method

Beginning February 1, there will be changes in the processes of payment for family/social benefits, assessment of individual functionality, and the non-cash payment of pensions from Haypost.

1. Citizens applying for disability determination for the first time will undergo an assessment of individual functionality.

2. In all cities of Armenia and in rural areas with 1,000 or more residents, any family or social benefits, as well as emergency assistance awarded after February 1 (including any changes concerning documents submitted to the Unified Social Service’s territorial centers) will be paid in non-cash form.

3. The national operator, Haypost, will no longer carry out payments in a non-cash form; it will continue to conduct payments only in cash.
