VIDEO. Blue Whale Dies After Colliding with Ship

A 20-meter blue whale has washed up on the shores of California, according to a report from the Telegram channel of Kommersant. The animal was discovered after it was involved in a collision with a ship.

The incident occurred at night, and in the morning, students from the University of California found the whale and conducted an examination. Two deep wounds were discovered on the female blue whale as a result of the ship collision.

Unfortunately, the female blue whale did not survive. Reports indicate that the Department of Environmental Protection is now deciding how and where to bury the whale.
