VIDEO: Gunfire Resurfaces in Jerusalem
Gunfire has erupted once again in Jerusalem, resulting in two individuals being injured. Local media reports this incident.
The events unfolded in the City of David, where the shooter opened fire on Ma'alot Street, not far from the entrance of a tourist center renowned for archaeological excavations. The victims are two men, aged 22 and 45, and their condition is stated to be critically stable.
The shooter has been neutralized, and police are working to ascertain his identity. The assault was reportedly carried out by a 13-year-old teenager from East Jerusalem. He is currently in an ambulance, with police having seized his weapon.
It is important to note that just yesterday, a shooting occurred at a synagogue in Jerusalem, resulting in several fatalities and injuries. Local police have already classified the prior incident as a terrorist attack.
Initially, reports indicated five fatalities and five injuries from the gunfire; however, the Jerusalem Post later reported that the number of victims from the terrorist attack in Israel has risen to seven, with the death toll doubling to ten. It is noted that the attacker opened fire on individuals as they exited the synagogue building.
