State Signs $170,000 Contract with Deputy Minister Hovhannes Harutyunyan's Family Company

The Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, Hovhannes Harutyunyan, has signed a contract worth 67 million drams (over $170,000) with his family's company, 'Shinkarkas', on December 6, as reported by Civilnet.am.

The contract is for the renovation of the roof of School No. 41 in Gyumri. The area of the roof to be renovated exceeds 3,800 square meters. The agreement stipulates that the work should be completed within 90 days.

Just days after the contract was signed, the governor of Shirak, Nazeli Baghdasaryan, visited the school and stated that the roof reconstruction is urgent, as "the school is undergoing complete deterioration."
