Israel Strikes Palestinian Targets with Airstrikes
Israel carried out airstrikes on Friday targeting training centers of Hamas militants in Palestine, according to the Israeli army's press service.
The strikes were executed using drones and Israeli Air Force fighters, with no reports of casualties or injuries available yet.
The attack was a response to rocket fire from Hamas towards Israeli territory. Three rockets were intercepted, with one landing in an unpopulated area.
The rockets were launched from the Jenin refugee camp following an operation by the Israeli army, during which at least seven Palestinians were reported killed.
On Thursday morning, a significant number of Israeli soldiers entered Jenin and a nearby refugee camp, as reported by the WAFA Palestinian news agency. According to the agency, they opened fire on young Palestinians who attempted to block the path of Israeli security forces.
Israeli sources stated that the Israeli Defense Forces entered the camp to carry out operations aimed at neutralizing “terrorists” located there.
