15 Dead, 3 Injured: New Details on Fire in Military Unit's Barracks - Ministry of Defense of Armenia

According to preliminary data, a fire that broke out in the barracks of the engineering battalion of the military unit No. N has resulted in the death of 15 servicemen, with the condition of 3 others assessed as serious, reports the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.

It is worth noting that on January 19, around 01:30, under yet unclear circumstances, a fire erupted in the barracks of the engineering battalion located in the territory of the village of Azat in the Gegharkunik region.

Despite firefighting efforts at the scene, there are casualties and injuries. Further information is being clarified.
