Hrazdan School 11 Educational Coordinator on Recent Incident
It was not a gas canister, but black pepper. This was stated by the educational coordinator of Hrazdan's School 11 in an interview with "Hraparak".
One of the main school teachers has also been hospitalized along with the children. However, according to Herminé Harutyunyan, the educational coordinator, the teacher was not poisoned. "She has a blood pressure issue and feels unwell. This happens to her every day," Harutyunyan said.
Earlier, we reported information obtained from law enforcement sources stating that one of the students brought a gas spray and discharged it at school, resulting in 39 children being poisoned and taken to the hospital.
Ms. Harutyunyan believes that the information is exaggerated. "There was no gas canister, it was just black pepper. The police took it and are investigating it now."
Hraparak also writes, "We wanted to ask the educational coordinator how pepper could cause poisoning to the extent that more than 30 people were taken to the hospital. We also wanted to inquire about the issues faced by the student who took such an extraordinary action. However, she evaded clarification, saying, 'I feel very unwell right now,' and hung up the phone before we could finish our speech. Meanwhile, the educational coordinator should have had something to say."
According to information obtained from parents, the boy who used the forbidden substance at school was the target of ridicule from classmates due to his distinctive appearance. He liked to wear black clothes adorned with bells, which led to him being pointed out and called "Emo" at school.
Parents have also reported that the boy has artistic talents, has attended drawing classes, and comes from a good family.
It should be noted that all the children hospitalized at the Hrazdan Medical Center were discharged after receiving the necessary medical care.
