Armenian-Russian tennis player Karen Khachanov earned over 500,000 Australian dollars for his performance at the Australian Open, according to РИА Новости, as reported by Armsport.am.

Khachanov reached the semifinals of the tournament, where he was defeated today by Greek player Stefanos Tsitsipas (6:7, 4:6, 7:6, 3:6).

According to the tournament regulations, Khachanov received 925,000 Australian dollars from the organizers. However, after tax deductions, Khachanov's earnings will amount to 509,000 Australian dollars.
