Eduard Aghajanyan Submits Resignation

The President of the National Assembly of Armenia has issued a statement regarding the resignation of Eduard Aghajanyan from his position as the Chairman of the Permanent Commission on Foreign Relations.

According to Article 147, Part 1 of the Constitutional Law on the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly, member of the National Assembly Eduard Aghajanyan has submitted his resignation from the position of Chairman of the Permanent Commission on Foreign Relations.

According to Article 147, Part 2 of the same constitutional law, if within one week after the public announcement of the resignation, the respective official withdraws their resignation in writing, the President of the National Assembly will announce this. If the official does not withdraw their resignation, an act will be prepared regarding the termination of their powers, which will be signed and published by the President of the National Assembly. From the moment of publication of the act, the resignation is considered accepted.
