Do They Understand What They Are Talking About? Zakharova Demands Explanation from Germany

The Russian Foreign Ministry is demanding an explanation from the German side regarding the statement made by Germany's Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), claiming that European countries are at war with Russia. This was reported by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, on her Telegram channel.

"Do they understand what they are talking about? The German Foreign Minister states that her country, along with other countries, is at war against Russia. Meanwhile, the same ministry does not consider its country a party to the conflict," wrote Zakharova.

She called on her German counterparts to clarify the situation. Zakharova noted that the German Foreign Ministry later announced that providing support to Kyiv does not make Germany a party in the Ukrainian conflict.
