VIDEO: Protests in Munich as Residents Oppose Tank and Arms Supplies to Ukraine
Residents of Munich have expressed their opposition to the supply of tanks and arms to Ukraine. Protesters are demanding a world built without weapons and sanctions.
It should be reminded that hundreds of Munich residents took to the streets on the night of January 26, holding banners and placards against the supply of tanks and weapons to Ukraine. On January 25, the country's government announced its intention to transfer Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine, with the first phase involving the dispatch of a company of 14 tanks to Kyiv from Berlin. According to Germany's Defense Minister Boris Pistorius, the first combat vehicles could be delivered to Ukraine in about three months.
