According to information received by the Internal Security Department of the police, operational-investigative measures were conducted to verify the authenticity of the information. The senior inspector of the traffic police patrol service, a major, and an inspector of the same squad, a captain, stopped more than twenty drivers in November 2022 for violating traffic rules. However, they did not draft administrative violation reports against these drivers. A criminal proceeding was initiated on January 19 for 13 instances of bribery offenses, 13 instances of receiving bribes, and the characteristic of exceeding official powers.
