VIDEO: Two Young Sisters Arrested in Yerevan

Two sisters, aged 22 and 35, were arrested on Freedom Street in Yerevan, as reported by the Police of the Republic of Armenia. The sisters were placing packages of drugs in various neighborhoods of the capital.

During a search of the younger sister, five packages containing approximately 8 grams of a substance resembling marijuana were found, along with a folding knife. Further inspections in different parts of Freedom Street resulted in the discovery of 20 packages weighing about 50 grams of narcotics.

According to the 22-year-old detainee, the discovered substances were obtained through Telegram for placement in various locations around Yerevan with her sister.

A public criminal case has been initiated against the sisters. The circumstances are being clarified as part of the investigation.
