Ruben Rubinyan Calls on the Council of Europe Secretary General to Increase Pressure on Azerbaijan

Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Ruben Rubinyan, announced on his Facebook page that he met with the Secretary General of the Council of Europe and urged to increase pressure on Azerbaijan for the immediate opening of the Lachin corridor.

“I met with the Secretary General of the Council of Europe. I outlined the humanitarian crisis created in Nagorno-Karabakh due to the illegal blockade of the Lachin corridor. We agreed that the monitoring bodies of the Council of Europe must have unhindered access to any area located within the Council of Europe zone. I called for increased pressure on Azerbaijan to open the corridor immediately,” Rubinyan wrote.
