Ararat Mirzoyan Interrogated: Details from 'Zhoghovurd'

'Zhoghovurd' newspaper reports that Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has been interrogated in connection with a criminal case regarding his assault. What did he tell the investigator?

According to information from 'Zhoghovurd', Mirzoyan stated that he does not remember anything and at that moment was only thinking about how to defend himself and save his life.

It is worth noting that recently, 'Zhoghovurd' learned significant details about what the detained individual in the case of the assault on Ararat Mirzoyan had said to the National Security Service. In particular, he mentioned that he intended to hit Mirzoyan but believes that his blow did not reach him.

The National Security Service had reported that an individual, identified as A.B., joined the participants of mass disturbances related to violence against the Speaker of the National Assembly, Ararat Mirzoyan, after learning about mass unrest occurring on November 9, 2020, near the administrative buildings of the Armenian government and National Assembly in Yerevan. He reportedly broke through the ranks of the demonstrators, approached the already fallen Ararat Mirzoyan, and kicked him, stating that after being deceived for 44 days, they lost.
