Major Accident on the Yerebuni-Yeraskh Highway

On January 23 at 11:53 PM, the Ararat regional crisis management center received a report of a traffic accident on the M-2 highway, near the village of Mkhchyan. There are casualties involved.

A team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene.

It was revealed that at the 50th kilometer of the Yeraskh-Yerevan highway, a collision occurred between a Mercedes-Benz (driver: H.G., born in 1996) and a Lada Priora (driver: G.A., born in 1999).

Before the rescue teams arrived at the scene, a passenger of the Lada Priora, M.P. (born in 1959), was hospitalized at the Erebuni Medical Center in Yerevan.

Rescue teams disabled the vehicles and closed the valves of the gas cylinders.
