«If I see him on the street, I will say a worse word and will slap him too»: Zohrabyan on Arsenyan's statement
During a press conference, former MP Naira Zohrabyan addressed the statement made by ruling party MP Gurgen Arsenyan on January 17, in which he claimed, "The issue of Artsakh has been resolved through military means: the issue of Artsakh was not resolved at the moment when Armenian military units were positioned between Artsakh and Azerbaijan. Now, Azerbaijani troops are stationed along the entirety of Artsakh, and the issue called Artsakh has been resolved itself."
"I don’t want to use stronger words for Gurgen Arsenyan, but if I see him on the street, I will say a worse word and will slap him too. He states that the issue of Artsakh is now closed and that Artsakh should be part of Azerbaijan... and he can live very calmly," Zohrabyan stated.
It is worth recalling that Arsenyan, in an interview with News.am, specifically noted, "The issue of Artsakh, as such, which was a conflict and had been in a hot or cold phase for 30 years, was dealt with by representatives of the international community: the Minsk Group and others, and was not resolved at the negotiation table. The issue of Artsakh was resolved through military means. The issue of Artsakh was not resolved at the moment when Armenian military units were stationed between Artsakh and Azerbaijan. Now, Azerbaijani troops are stationed along all of Artsakh. The issue called Artsakh has been resolved itself."
