Pictures: Day 42, This Is the Contents of Our Stores - What Is the Situation in Artsakh

Stepanakert resident Anna Mangasaryan has shared photos on her Facebook page, accompanied by the caption: “This morning I went to buy bread, and this is the contents of our stores. Day 42.”

It is important to note that for 42 days, Azerbaijani government agents have held the 120,000 residents of Artsakh hostage under conditions of blockade involving terrorist acts.

Due to the blockade, the population of Artsakh, which includes around 30,000 children, 20,000 elderly individuals, and 9,000 people with disabilities, is facing numerous deprivations and is at risk of famine.

Since the start of the blockade, many countries and international organizations worldwide have condemned Azerbaijan's actions and called for the lifting of the blockade. The issue has also been discussed in the UN Security Council. The European Court of Human Rights has compelled Azerbaijan to take all necessary and sufficient measures to remove the blockade, and the matter will soon also be addressed in the International Court of Justice (Hague) within the framework of the proceedings underway by the Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
