Perm-Goa Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Uzbekistan: What Happened on Board

A passenger plane from Azur Air flying from Perm to Goa made an emergency landing in Uzbekistan due to a bomb threat. This was reported on Saturday by the Indian Ministry of Civil Aviation.

“Flight AZV2463 was redirected to Uzbekistan after receiving information about the presence of a bomb,” officials from the Indian Ministry of Civil Aviation stated.

There were approximately 240 people on board. This marks the second such incident. On January 9, the Russian Azur Air flight, which was also en route from Moscow to Goa with 244 passengers and crew members, made an emergency landing in Gujarat, India, following a false report of a bomb on the plane. Passengers were forced to spend the night at the Jamnagar airbase in Gujarat as Indian intelligence services inspected the aircraft.

However, during the lengthy check, no explosives or suspicious objects were found, and on January 10, the plane took off for Goa.
