Nelli Movsisyan Paid Salary to Her Father Who Was Absent from Armenia: Prosecutor's Office

The director of the kindergarten in Aygek, Armavir Province, has paid a significant amount of money to her father, who held a supportive laborer position in the same organization but has not been present in Armenia. This information was reported by the press service of the prosecutor's office.

The case involves Nelli Movsisyan, the wife of former MP Arkakhel Movsisyan (Shmays). According to the statement, "The director N.M. calculated and paid a significant sum to her father, laborer S.Z., from October 1 to December 11, 2016, in conditions of absence from the Republic of Armenia and non-attendance at work."

During the investigation of the criminal case examined by the Anti-Corruption Committee, it was established that director N.M., with the assistance of the organization's accountant H.A. and laborer S.Z., embezzled a significant amount of money by abusing her official position, and that N.M. and H.A. committed official forgery as a group.

A decision was made not to initiate criminal proceedings against the kindergarten director, accountant, and laborer due to the expiration of the statute of limitations for criminal liability. They have compensated the damage caused to the state.
