Europe Has Yet to Learn from Its Past Mistakes: Salami
The commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), General Hossein Salami, criticized the resolution passed by the European Parliament on Wednesday. The document called for EU leaders to designate the IRGC as a terrorist organization, citing the use of violence against protesters and the sale of Iranian-made drones to Moscow.
“Europe has yet to learn from its past mistakes. They think that by taking such steps they can destabilize our force, which is full of faith and will,” General Salami stated today in Tehran.
“Statements like these from Europe do not concern us. When our enemies give us the opportunity to act, we become stronger. The IRGC operates in the real world,” the Iranian military leader added.
