VIDEO: Government Members Honor Memory of Fallen Soldiers

Government members observed a moment of silence to honor the memory of 15 soldiers who lost their lives due to a fire at a military unit in the village of Azat, Gegharkunik region. Prime Minister Pashinyan stated during the government's session, “A horrific incident occurred last night. As a result of the fire at the Defense Ministry's barracks located in the village of Azat, 15 soldiers have died,” and requested a minute of silence to pay tribute to the fallen soldiers.

On January 19, around 01:30 AM, a fire broke out under yet to be determined circumstances in the barracks of the engineer unit of the Defense Ministry's military unit located in the village of Azat, Gegharkunik region. Despite firefighting efforts at the scene, there are confirmed casualties and injuries, and details are still being clarified.
