VIDEO. "From today go and close it". Pashinyan issued an order
There must be strict control over compliance with fire safety rules, including in civilian facilities. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan emphasized this during a government meeting. He addressed the inspection bodies, instructing them to be strict on this matter.
“We have large civilian facilities that we are not closing for that reason, so we don’t deprive hundreds of people of their daily bread. But I am instructing that there should be no compromise: where it does not comply with fire safety rules, go and close it,” said Pashinyan.
The Prime Minister stressed that either the investor must make the necessary investments and comply with fire safety regulations, or those doing business there should go and work elsewhere where the rules are properly followed. He instructed to start this work today. No matter how difficult the decision may be, such facilities must simply be closed.
