Do you now understand that 'tomorrow' may never come? The post by Aram Manukyan, victim of the horrific fire
Aram Manukyan, a serviceman who fell victim to a horrific fire today, was from Vanadzor. He was set to be discharged in 28 days. A post he made back in September has been widely shared online:
“Well, do you now understand that ‘tomorrow’ may never come, or it may come at midnight, standing at your throat amidst disturbing sounds? Now do you understand that you might not have the chance anymore, that you might not sing like a madman, with your voice overwhelming you? You have to live each day to the fullest. Go and see the person you’ve long intended to, but have always waited for tomorrow. Write to and hug the one you hope to bump into on the street tomorrow. Look into their eyes without fear and catch the sweetness of life, live, alright? Should we be afraid and then love each other again, right? Well, we’ll still be smiling, we’ll still forget about the important things, we’ll still live as if tomorrow is always in our pocket and whenever we want, we’ll bring forth the dawn from the folded parts; we will live… probably… We should love each other, love a lot, love in place of today and tomorrow. Help each other conquer the soul-destroying nights, be together, live together…”
It is reported that a fire broke out in the Ministry of Defense's N military unit, resulting in the deaths of 15 servicemen, with the conditions of 3 others being assessed as critical.
