Yerevan and Tehran Become Sister Cities

The capital of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Tehran, and Yerevan have been declared sister cities. This information was shared by Yerevan's Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan.

"I believe that this agreement will serve as a basis for new cooperation," he wrote on his Facebook page, sharing a photo with Tehran's Mayor Alireza Zakani.

It is worth noting that a delegation led by Hrachya Sargsyan traveled to Tehran on January 17. Members of the Yerevan delegation will visit several urban management institutions.
