VIDEO: We have seen disgraceful occurrences at the front line, Gegham Manukyan

Today, on January 17, MP Gegham Manukyan from the "Armenia" faction announced in the National Assembly that before the New Year, members of their faction visited the front line, where they witnessed many things, which made them less vocal.

Manukyan noted that just days ago, ruling party MP Andranik Kocharyan stated that the positions had qualitatively changed, which the opposition had the opportunity to see, but after that, the opposition became less talkative.

“Yes, before the New Year, we were at the front line from Tavush to Kapan. We have seen a lot, that’s why we are less vocal. We saw soldiers with fire in their eyes, as well as a commander who, unfortunately, was building a new position. We saw a volunteer who had difficulty moving yet maintained the spirit of a freedom fighter. However, we also witnessed many things that we did not wish to bring up,” said Manukyan.

According to him, they are not silent out of a desire to say good things, but because they love their country, unlike many who found themselves in power today, who used to accuse the army and tarnish it at every loss when they were in opposition.

Manukyan added that they will submit everything they saw in writing to the Minister of Defense.

He also remarked that Andranik Kocharyan should be more attentive to the January 28 celebrations of the formation of the Armenian armed forces, rather than repeating what happened last year when they “blurred” the 30th anniversary of the army and said nothing positive about it.
