Man Dies After Falling While Chasing a Commuter Taxi

A tragic incident occurred in the Lori Province today, January 17. Around 08:40, the "Vanadzor" medical center notified the Lori regional police of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs that a team of emergency doctors responded to a call at 9 Hambardzumyan Street, where they found a man's body at a bus stop. This was reported by Shamshyan.com.

Police have determined that the deceased was 77-year-old Lyova M. from Vanadzor. Authorities found out that he fell while trying to chase after a commuter taxi and struck his head against the metal frame of the bus stop, resulting in his immediate death.

Following the incident, a criminal case has been initiated by the Lori regional investigative department. A forensic examination of the body has been ordered by the investigator.
