Turkey Begins Winter Military Exercises in Kars with Forces from 8 Other Countries
From January 8 to February 2, in the eastern province of Kars, bordering the Republic of Armenia, the Turkish military is conducting the "Winter-2023" exercises involving armed forces from eight other countries, reports Ermenihaber.am.
The Minister of Defense of Kosovo, Armend Mehaj, stated, "Among the objectives of the exercises are to ensure cooperation and coordination in joint operations, as well as to test the combat skills of the troops." During the exercises, training for soldiers is also planned on topics including deployment, food service, clothing management, shooting in snowy conditions, and maneuvering.
