Son Kills Mother Over Disposed Social Media Username and Password Paper in Russia

An 18-year-old resident of Ufa has confessed to killing his mother after she threw away a paper containing his social media usernames and passwords while cleaning the house. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

The Russian Investigative Committee stated that on the morning of January 9, a young man, who had long had a hostile relationship with his mother, attacked her with a kitchen knife during a conflict, inflicting multiple wounds to her neck and waist. The woman died on the spot from the injuries sustained.

"After the murder, the young man sent a message to his brother, informing him about what he had done. The brother then called the police and an ambulance," reported the Russian Investigative Committee.

The young man has been charged with murder. He did not hide from law enforcement, admitted his guilt, and provided details about the incident.
