UK Plans to Supply Ukraine with Apache Military Helicopters

The UK is set to provide Ukraine with four Apache military helicopters following the delivery of Challenger 2 tanks, reports the Mirror, citing a source from the defense ministry.

The tanks will be delivered first, and it will take some time to deploy the helicopters. Other NATO countries are expected to follow suit. Ukraine needs more than four helicopters for their use to have strategic significance.

A source from the publication believes that the sending of Apaches by the UK is a "serious tactical step." Earlier, UK officials officially announced the supply of Challenger 2 tanks to Ukraine, stating that London will transfer 14 British tanks to Kyiv. Initially, four tanks will be supplied, followed by an additional eight.
