Brazil's President Accuses Police and Military of Aiding Congressional Building Attack

Several police officers and military personnel supported supporters of former president Jair Bolsonaro during the attack on Congress. According to Brazilian media reports, Brazil's President Luiz Lula da Silva came to this conclusion after viewing footage of the assault on the Planalto presidential palace, the national congress, and the supreme court buildings.

"These people (the protesters) were allowed to enter through the gates of the Palácio da Planalto; someone facilitated their entry," said da Silva.
