Yerevan Zoo Welcomes a New Resident

The family of tigers at the Yerevan Zoo has welcomed a new member. This information was shared by the press service of the Yerevan City Hall.

“Benefactors, father and son the Arakelyans, have donated an Amur tiger to the zoo. The animal is 7 years old. It will undergo a quarantine period and, after the reconstruction of its enclosure, will join the family of tigers,” the announcement stated.

The zoo administration assured that they will do their utmost to provide appropriate conditions for the new animal as well.
