Turkish Football Federation Invites Archbishop Mashalyan to Armenia-Turkey Match
The Armenian Patriarch of Constantinople, Archbishop Sahak Mashalyan, received a delegation led by Murad Aksu, Vice President of the Turkish Football Federation, during the Christmas reception. This was reported by Radar Armenia.
According to a statement from the Turkish Football Federation, the delegation invited Archbishop Mashalyan to the Armenia-Turkey football match scheduled for March 25, 2024, in Yerevan, part of the qualifying round for the European Championship, and presented him with a Turkey national team jersey.
Murad Aksu and Ali Dyushmezh, a member of the federation's management and executive council, congratulated the patriarch and the Armenian community on the occasion of Christmas.
